Monticello

Monticello was Thomas Jefferson's home, originally on 5,000 acres of land (now 2,000, due to his lack of fund management skills)
It's preserved to this day and has some interesting ideas on how to use space - The bedroom is a great example of this.
Also shows he did shit without having an especially good reason (which I think is a typically Male trait) - as shown by his dome room. Completely useless.
About the only purpose I can see for the room is as a harem, with a large circular bed upon which his concubines resided.
